Taco croissant wreath with salad.

The first time I made this the girls loved it. The second time they didn’t.

Told them this was on the menu tonight. One said I’d ruined her day, the other said ‘this is my worst meal in the world EVER’

Happy Monday…….

If you want to ruin your kid’s lives here’s how to do it…

Its a @pillsbury recipe but I used @jus_rol croissant dough coz I don’t think you can get Pillsbury in the UK?

You need –
lb minced beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
50ml water
4oz grated cheese
2 packets of croissant dough
Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cucumber and salsa (I made mine with tinned tomatoes, garlic purée, balsamic vinegar, ground coriander and oregano)

Directions -
Heat oven to 190c.

Cook the mince in a pan until browned, drain off excess fat and mix in taco mix and water until cooked through.

Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 12 triangles. Line a baking sheet with baking paper, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.

Spoon beef mixture on the half of each triangle closest to center of ring and top with grated cheese

Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.

Tada! Serve with the salad and some oven chips. Make this, and you’ve got a 50/50 chance of thanking me later
